This website is described in an article of the May issue of ISTE. It is a web2.0 tool that allows students and their teacher(s) to collaborate on a variety of levels. The teacher sets up a site that contains different "walls" where the teacher can ask a question or give a prompt and the students can put up "post-its" with comments, pictures, links, etc. for the whole class to see in response to the topic of the "wall". There is a multitude of ways that this website can be used and the author of the article provides examples and ideas with links on the side of the second page of the article. The author also provides his blog, Ed Tech Ideas, which has some interesting information and technology ideas.
I think this article was very interesting and helpful because it introduced and explained how to use a really useful tool. I would love to use this in my classroom and maybe add a link to my website for my students and I to post new words; we have a "Nuevas Palabras" white board in the classroom but it would be neat to have a digital one that they would have unlimited access to! What a great tool!
Here's my new wallwisher! http://www.wallwisher.com/wall/mleasurespanish
